Nom de l'étain en lames.
   L'étain du commerce se présente en feuilles, en baguettes, en tables, en pains, en saumons et en lames ; sous cette dernière forme, il est appelé grain-tin, P. POIRÉ Notions de chimie, p. 213, Paris, 1869.
   La finale tin est l'angl. tin, étain ; mais grain ne s'explique pas.
