Synonyme d'ABSINTHE.
   XVIe s.
   De plant enraciné et de semence s'edifie l'aluine ou absinthe, O. DE SERRES 565.
   Les poulailles ayans mangé de l'aluyne, leur chair est amere, PARÉ XXIII, 4.
   Sans doute ainsi nommée à cause de son amertume (voy. aloès).
