Terme de métaphysique. Transformation par création.
   Au lieu de la création absolue d'une âme raisonnable, on pourrait soutenir la doctrine de la transcréation d'une âme non raisonnable en âme raisonnable, ce qui se ferait par l'addition miraculeuse d'un degré essentiel de perfection, LEIBNITZ cité dans Revue de l'instr. publique, 27 juin 1861, p. 198.
