révivification
(ré-vi-vi-fi-ka-sion) s. f.
   Action de faire renaître la vie.
   Révivification des plantes et des animaux, se dit du retour des manifestations vitales après la dessiccation, le sommeil hibernal ou la mort apparente.
   Terme de chimie. Synonyme de réduction.
   Révivification d'un métal, retour de l'oxyde à l'état métallique.
   Révivification du noir animal, opération par laquelle on le met en état de servir de nouveau.
   Révivifier.
