Terme d'antiquité grecque. Orateur député à l'assemblée des amphictyons, à Pyles et à Delphes.
•   Les pylagores s'occupaient exclusivement de toutes les questions du droit public ; ils récompensaient les services rendus à la Grèce, condamnaient à des amendes les peuples qui violaient le droit des gens, LETRONNE Instit. Mém. inscr. et belles-lett. t. VI, p. 252.
   Du grec, les Thermopyles, et, parler : député à Pyles.
