phaéthon 1.
(fa-é-ton) s. m.
   Terme de la mythologie Fils du Soleil et de Clymène, qui, ayant demandé à son père de conduire son char, ne put maîtriser les chevaux, risqua d'embraser le monde et fut foudroyé par Jupiter.
