Terme de droit romain. Qui ne peut être appelé en témoignage, à cause de quelque défaut qui lui ôte ce droit.
   Qui est privé du droit de tester.
   Ils [les empereurs] en vinrent jusqu'à leur ôter [aux donatistes] la disposition de leurs biens, et à les rendre intestables, BOSSUET Polit. VII, III, 10.
