(a-do-mi-nèm') loc. lat.
Argument ad hominem, autrement dit argument personnel, argument qui oppose à un adversaire ce qu'il a dit, ce qu'il a fait, sa position présente, ou sa situation passée. L'argument ad hominem ne prouve rien, mais il embarrasse souvent l'adversaire.
