hoirin ou horin
(oi-rin ou o-rin) s. m.
Ancien terme de marine. Bouée ; bois qu'on laisse flotter pour indiquer le lieu où l'ancre est mouillée.
   Les maîtres et patrons de navires qui voudront se tenir sur leurs ancres dans les ports seront obligés d'y attacher hoirin, bouée ou gaviteau pour les marquer, Ord. d'août 1681, IV, I, 5.
