(ga-stro-ra-fie) s. f.
Terme de chirurgie. Suture que l'on fait aux parois abdominales pour réunir les plaies pénétrantes étendues et inégales.
   L'Académie écrit gastroraphie ; mais l'orthographe régulière est gastrorrhaphie, les Grecs doublant l'r en composition.
   Du grec, estomac, et, suture.
