(è-ffé-ran, ran-t') adj.
Terme de physiologie. Qui emporte. Vaisseaux efférents, vaisseaux qui emportent les fluides sécrétés hors des glandes. Nerfs efférents, nerfs qui portent les actions du centre à la périphérie.
   Lat. efferens, de efferre, porter hors, de e, et ferre, porter.
