divellent, ente
(di-vèl-lan, lan-t') adj.
Terme didactique. Qui arrache, qui sépare.
   Terme d'ancienne chimie. Affinité divellente, celle à laquelle on attribuait la double décomposition de deux solutions salines mises en présence, et qui semblait arracher les bases aux acides.
   Lat. divellere, de di.... préfixe, et vellere, arracher.
