(fa-ssi-a-sion) s. f.
Terme de botanique. Vice de conformation des branches d'un arbre, des pédoncules et pétioles d'une plante, qui s'aplatissent et s'étendent en forme de bande au lieu de conserver la forme cylindrique.
   Lat. fascia, bande.
